The Skills Before Struggles Program
Stop guessing what to do. Start knowing what to teach.
5 weeks of personalized parent support | $625
Parenting advice is everywhere—but your child is unique.
If you find yourself wondering why certain behaviors keep happening, what your child needs from you, or what you should be teaching next, the Skills Before Struggles Program gives you a personalized plan.
Over five weeks, we'll work together to better understand your child, identify meaningful skills to build, and find practical ways to teach those skills during everyday life.
No diagnosis required.
This program may be a good fit if...
You want support with things like:
Communication
Big emotions
Transitions
Waiting
Following everyday routines
Independence
Asking for help or expressing needs
Other behaviors you're not sure how to respond to
You don't have to wait until something becomes a bigger challenge to ask for support.
Sometimes the question isn't just:
“How do I stop this behavior?”
It's:
“What does my child need to learn?”
That's where we'll start.
What We'll Work On
Week 1 — Understand
We'll start by looking at your child's strengths, everyday routines, and the situations where you're experiencing challenges.
We'll identify patterns and choose the most meaningful skills to focus on during our five weeks together.
You'll begin learning what to look for—not just what to react to.
Week 2 — Prevent
We'll look at what can happen before a struggle begins.
You'll learn practical ways to adjust routines, expectations, and the environment to help set your child up for success.
This may include strategies such as choices, preparing for transitions, visual supports, or making expectations clearer.
Week 3 — Teach
Now we shift the focus from:
“How do I stop this?”
to:
“What can I teach instead?”
We'll identify a skill your child can learn and create realistic opportunities to teach and practice it during everyday routines.
Week 4 — Practice
New skills take practice.
We'll review your child's progress, troubleshoot what's been difficult, and adjust your strategies as needed.
You'll learn how to encourage new skills, respond to attempts, and create more opportunities for your child to practice.
Week 5 — Grow
We'll bring everything together.
We'll review what's changed, identify what still needs support, and decide what skills may come next.
You'll leave with a personalized 30-day plan so you can continue building skills after our five weeks together.
